A Portfolio Reflection
When I started this blog, I wasn’t entirely sure what it would become. A place to dump my thoughts? A digital diary? A half-serious experiment in self-expression? Turns out, it became a little bit of all those things and much more.
Over the past months, this blog has served as a creative playground. It gave me space to dive into topics I genuinely care about, to write without pressure, and to experiment with how I express my ideas. I’ve always been curious about certain subjects, but putting them into words here helped me understand them — and myself — in new ways. And honestly, having a reason to sit down and write (beyond the usual to-do list or group chat rants) was kind of refreshing.
One of the most enjoyable parts of the journey was seeing what my colleagues were writing. There’s something incredibly motivating about reading someone else’s thoughtful (or funny, or brilliantly weird) take on a topic and thinking, “Oh wow, I never looked at it that way!” It made me feel connected to a bigger creative conversation, and sometimes it even nudged me out of my own comfort zone.
Now, let’s talk about the website.
At some point, I realized that just having a blog wasn’t quite enough. I needed a place where my visual work could breathe a little more — a place where people could see what I’m passionate about, not just read about it. So I set up a creative sites on my Adobe Portfolio, and honestly, it was one of the best decisions I made during this whole process. It gave me the freedom to present my creative work — illustrations, graphics, and all the little visual things I love making — in a way that felt clean, curated, and distinctly me.
So, what happens now?
Well… I’m officially closing the chapter on this blog — at least in terms of regular updates. I won’t be posting new entries anymore, not because I’ve lost interest, but because I feel like this space has fulfilled its purpose. From now on, I’ll treat this blog more like a digital time capsule. A quiet corner of the internet I can return to — to revisit old thoughts, to reflect on my progress, or to remind myself of what sparked my curiosity back then.
It feels good to say that this wasn’t just another half-finished side project. It was something that grew with me, and something I’m genuinely proud of. Through it, I learned more about my creative process, I discovered new interests, and I found joy in sharing — even if it was sometimes just with a handful of readers (hi, people from cos23).
So no, this blog isn’t going anywhere. It’s just shifting roles — from active journal to thoughtful archive. From “what’s next?” to “remember when?”
And honestly, I like that.
Thanks for reading, for scrolling, for clicking, and for being curious. I hope this space continues to inspire, or at least offer the occasional “oh yeah, that was cool” moment — both for you and for future me.
